It Lives.
I’ve been in major RL-mode for the past several months and it’s taken its toll, but things are finally settling down and I am able to assess where I am.
One thing I realized is that I had developed a severe case of online-multiple identity disorder. Basically, I had too many user ids and intentions making me fragmented and unable to focus. I’ve recently sat down and figured which identity stays and which one goes (not quite A Beautiful Mind, but you get the idea). So out with “frogsbrain” and “pocio” and long live “just3ws”.
It wasn’t just identities that were splintered but projects as well. I had split my focus over too many small, insignificant projects and want to re-focus on ones that matter to me the most.
The projects I care most about are http://nuscia.com and #Resume.
nuscia.com is an open-resume service to help distribute and improve your resume collaboratively.
#Resume will be an integration library in C# for accessing and manipulating HR-XML compatible resume documents.
I hope I can keep this flickering candle of clarity burning long enough to get these projects out the door.
Wish me luck.
